Efe Cierkowski is a Philadelphia real estate investor, developer, licensed general contractor, and founder of Elmina Capital. Since 2022, she has led the acquisition and renovation of more than 23 homes across Philadelphia, representing over $8M in completed project value.

Before building her real estate portfolio, Efe spent more than 20 years in operations, analytics, project management, and business consulting, including work with large investment banks, Fortune 500 companies, and entrepreneurial ventures. She brings that same systems-driven, analytical, and execution-focused approach to real estate investing.

Raised in Ghana and now based in New Jersey with her husband and four children, Efe views real estate as both a wealth-building vehicle and a way to create meaningful community impact.

She founded Elmina Capital to help combat the affordable housing crisis in the city.  Her goal is to provide high quality and affordably-priced rental properties - along with excellent customer service - to families so they can build community and enjoy where they live.

Through Elmina Capital, she is committed to reducing blight by transforming distressed properties into quality homes while building a legacy rooted in excellence, stewardship, and long-term value creation.

Raised in Ghana, Efe has an executive MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mount Holyoke College, a seven sisters college in Massachusetts.
